Welcome to the Natives4justice website

To the Blackfeet People;

Oki! As we enter another election year on the tribal, state and national levels, I hope our Blackfeet tribal members will seriously consider the field of Candidates that are running for political office on every level of the political spectrum.

Since every level of politics that we encounter as tribal members has an impact on our lives, on our family’s lives, and on our way of life as Native People.

As an active member of the Blackfeet Tribe and as a Candidate in the 2026 Blackfeet Tribal election I would greatly appreciate that you consider supporting & voting for me in the 2026 Blackfeet Tribal election.

As an Elder of the Blackfeet Tribe and Nation, the membership of the Blackfeet Tribe can be assured, as the Blackfeet People’s voice on the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council, I have the political savvy, knowledge, and experience in tribal, state and federal policies and laws that equips and enables me to be an effective leader to represent the Blackfeet People on the local, state and national levels of government and politics.

In past years, I like many of our Blackfeet Tribal Elders and adult members of the Blackfeet Tribe fought against corrupt tribal politicians.

As a member of the Blackfeet Tribe I have always been opposed to compromising the sovereignty of our Blackfeet tribal land base and negotiating away more of our tribal water rights.

Since as it can be plainly seen on the webpage titled “The Blackfeet Territory” prior to the year 1800 the Blackfeet Territory extended into Canada and encompassed the majority of the State of Montana. Where the area historically known as the Blackfeet Territory prior to 1800’s should be where our sovereign tribal water rights should be recognized.

As a member of the Blackfeet Tribe located in Central Montana my Native Blackfeet name is Na To Ah Wa Pii which in the Blackfeet language in accordance to Blackfeet Elder and former respected Tribal Councilman George Kicking Woman, means “Holy Speaker" or "Powerful Words"

My name Na To Ah Wa Pii "Holy Speaker/"Powerful Words" was given to me by my late father Earl Vielle. Who gave me the name Na To Ah Wa Pii as he told me the story of how he received my Blackfeet name through a dream he had concerning me. In my father’s dream he said he was riding south on horseback from his cabin located three to four miles east of Divide mountain in what is known as the Fox Creek area on the Blackfeet Nation.

My father Earl further told me  as he was riding south from his cabin two Blackfeet men dressed in the traditional Blackfeet regalia on horseback road up to him coming from the west in the direction of Divide mountain. As the two Blackfeet men approached my Dad came within shouting distance toward my Dad, they called out to my Dad and said in the traditional Blackfeet language "Have you seen Na To Ah WA Pii?”, referring to me Leon Vielle.

The morning after my Dad had the dream concerning my Blackfeet name Na To Ah Wa Pii he told me that would be my Blackfeet name. That I am honored to have and always make every attempt to live up to my Blackfeet name Na To Ah Wa Pii.
